Canteen Chef

We are looking for temporary Chefs to work at an ad hoc basis although we have a number of open positions at the moment.

There are various shifts working days or nights, from 0600-1800 or 1800-0600. There are full and part-time positions available.

Main duties are to cook and serve food, maintaining a high standard of service and hygiene.

Duties are:
*The preparation and cooking of ingredients as directed by Restaurant Manager.
*Comply and maintain kitchen security as required to comply with company food safety and healthy and safety policies.
*To cook and serve meals to employees and visitors in a professional, helpful manner.
*Cash Handling.
*Cleaning duties.
*Assist in the planning and coordination of menus.
*Follow routines, guidelines and procedures set by Restaurant Manager.

Key Skills and Training Required:
NVQ/C&G Qualified Manual Handling and Chemical Awareness training, Excellent telephone manner, Ability to communicate on all levels.
