Digital Animator and Content Facilitator, Headcast Lab
Headcast Ltd are looking to employ a Digital Animator and Content Facilitator, to digitally animate HeadcastLab animated characters, and their integration in all media as required.
HEADCAST LAB is an exciting digital platform that enables the rapid broadcast ('headcast') of animated characters and celebrities to customer branded Apps on mobile devices. Performances enabled, range from simple characters that clients can self-animate such as provided for Stephen Fry tinyurl.com/fryheadcast through to the broadcast of 'TV' quality programs to handsets. This is an exciting new company which is growing quickly, specialising in the development of digital characters, through animation and film.
*Generate animated characters to allow seamless integration with app design
*Edit demonstrators and promotional material so that sales team are able to send these to prospective clients without caveats
*Contribute to the design and build of animated characters in environments and deliver these in a timely manner to the market
Nature of work undertaken:
This is an outstanding and rare opportunity to join a new and rapidly expanding, successful business working at the cutting edge of animation technology applications. The successful graduate will become part of a vibrant team and needs to be able to share ideas easily, and communicate any issues in a timely manner. As part of a creative and technical team, the graduate will need to be able respond to the dynamic needs of team members in order to deliver animations to customers in a service oriented manner The successful graduate will have excellent problem solving skills, be expected to be able to operate independently for periods of time, and will need to be self-motivated and organised.
Essential and desirable requirements and skills:
*A degree in a relative discipline (preferably Digital Animation)
*A working knowledge of 2D/3D animation; (Modelling,Texturing, Motion Capture, Rendering, Computer Animation Software)
*Experience with Film Production,including HD Video equipment,Video formats for mobile devices, Storyboarding, Project Management, Sound Editing
*Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Editing, After Effects, Video Effects, Compositing, Photoshop, Photo editing, Graphical content creation, Flash, Animation, Vector Graphics
*Working knowledge of Mobile Devices, New hardware, Operating Systems, Android, iOS, Software Development, User Interfaces,
*Social Media, Creating and managing accounts, Facebook and Twitter, Integration with online services and websites
*Proactive approach and ability to work on own initiative
*Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
*The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
*High levels of attention to detail and quality
*Have experience in the Creative industries, Digital Arts, Commercial Video, Internet publishing, Videos, Text, Images, Websites
Duration of the project: Full time for 6 months in the first instance, with potential for a long-term opportunity.
