Customer Service Manager
Based in the Falmouth area my client is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Manager with a foreign language and knowledge of digital print. Candidates will be expected to manage the existing customer service team, providing marketing and product support and assisting the sales team. Main duties - To ensure all orders received are dealt with speedily, accurately, efficiently and intelligently. To make sure all client communications are both efficient and cheerful. To liaise with Sales & Marketing Director to ensure department's product knowledge is adequate to answer customers' verbal queries or to obtain and pass on the correct advice speedily. To take personal responsibility for giving customers and end-users advice on product suitability, compatibility and settings where needed. To work with Sales & Marketing Director and all account reps to ensure all relevant price lists and product guides are kept up-to-date by the department, and to suggest improvements. To take an active role in the production of marketing support materials, whether in-house or using external print suppliers. To introduce new products, codes and descriptions as necessary into the accounting /manufacturing systems and ensure all necessary parties are aware of them. To ensure customer complaints are dealt with efficiently and accurately, and that records of any credits issuing from them are maintained. To make sure all sample requests are fulfilled speedily and logged. To optimise speed, efficiency and cost of shipping goods. Actively to administer the sending out of e-shots to a schedule agreed with the Sales & Marketing Director. To be an enthusiastic personal in-house liaison for the worldwide sales team and designated customer accounts. Candidates must be comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel programs, with some spread sheet-building experience and to be fluent in either Spanish, German or French would be preferred. The role requires a forward thinking, motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys dealing with customers in an efficient and professional manner along with motivating and mentoring a team to get the best out of them. Candidates must come from a Customer Service 'Management' background previously along with practical experience within a marketing setting.
