Interior Design Coordinator
Camellia Interiors is looking to recruit a graduate to help the business develop its commercial design portfolio
Camellia interiors are leading experts in the UK for designing and project managing all types of building work on Coastal properties. With an expert team and trusted contractors and suppliers, they deliver small or large scale projects from full architectural refurbishments and developments to one-off curtain-making and upholstery commissions, for both private homes and property developers.
*Develop the company's portfolio of commercial interior design projects
*Manage customer accounts
*Develop the company's commercial tender process
*Support the design team on current projects
Nature of work undertaken:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who has studied interior design, is a strong communicator and has who enjoys working in small but dynamic teams. This role will pay particular attention to managing and developing commercial contracts.
Essential and desirable requirements and skills:
*Degree level qualification in interior design or a related discipline
*A interest in design and interiors
*Confident, creative, commercially minded and self-motivated approach
*Understanding of the interior industry
*Good interpersonal, IT, administration and analytical skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Demonstrable experience of working on own initiative
*Graduates must not have previously been supported in a UCP Graduate Placement programme*
*Experience working on commercial interior contracts
*Ability to manage and introduce change in a positive way.
*Understanding of managing a successful project from start to finish
*Graduates should ideally have graduated within the last 5 years and be unemployed or not fulfilling their graduate potential*
