Position: Flotilla Mechanic
Location: Greece/Turkey
Salary: Competitive
Type: Contract - Summer Season (March - November)

The Yacht Mechanic / Marine Engineer will take ownership of the maintenance yachts, providing excellent care and service to all guests according to agreed Company standards, policies and procedures.

a) Take personal responsibility for the maintenance, repair and security of company equipment and the satisfactory appearance of company sites to ensure the meeting of brochure specifications and guest expectations.
b) Assist in providing a safe and enjoyable working environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, for both staff and guests.
c) To assist in organising and hosting social events on most evenings and generally interact with guests on a regular basis.
d) Be flexible in your job role and working hours while being willing to assist in all other duties within reason as requested by your Manager or Skipper.
e) Be prepared to move between different resorts according to operational needs and to fulfil your contracted end date.

a) Knowledge of 12v electric systems.
b) Demonstrable ability of engineering or motor trade work experience.
c) Qualified First Aider.
d) Educated to GSCE standard.
e) Previous customer service experience.
f) Able communicate well with guests and staff of all ages.
g) Self-motivated, organised and able to work on own initiative.
h) Welcoming, enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly.

a) Watersports skills or qualifications would be a bonus.
b) Engineering qualifications/NVQ, either mechanical or electrical would be a plus.
a) Experience of the travel industry is desirable but not essential.
b) Previous experience of working on yachts would be a bonus.
e) Marine Diesel Engine Knowledge.
f) High standards in all areas of yacht maintenance.
