CAD Engineer - Mojo Maritime
Mojo Maritime wish to recruit a graduate to produce 3D detailed engineering drawings to component level and incorporate this function into the engineering design process.
Mojo Maritime provide marine operations management and consultancy services to the Offshore Renewable Energy Sector. The business has a high engineering knowledge base enabling it to provide innovative engineering solutions for offshore renewable energy deployment and maintenance. With an ever increasing and excellent global reputation within the industry, Mojo Maritime seeks to add to its engineering resources through the employment of a 3D CAD Engineer to focus upon the production of detailed engineering drawings.
Train as required and become conversant with the current design engineering process
Produce 3D CAD detailed engineering drawings as required (SolidWorks software in house)
Liaise internally and externally to ensure designs and components are fit for purpose
Nature of work undertaken:
This excellent opportunity within a growing business and industry sector will require the successful candidate to utilise their design and 3D CAD drawing skills to quickly become part of a high knowledge base of engineers. As the successful candidate you will focus upon the detailed components of larger engineering structures and therefore will liaise closely with internal engineering colleagues as well as external suppliers and clients. Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful business.
Essential and desirable requirements and skills:
A degree level qualification is essential, and it would be advantageous if you could also offer:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Experience producing 3D CAD drawings
Effective communication skills
A professional approach
Our ideal graduate would also have.
Interest in the Renewable Engineering industry
Previous industry experience in a similar role
Graduates should ideally (but not necessarily) have graduated within the last 5 years and be unemployed or not fulfilling their graduate potential*
