FM HVAC Engineering Manager (National role)

The National Mobile Service (Planned Maintenance) Business Unit is a leading provider of mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance, to office services and support for full facilities management contracts. Working with both private and public sector customers their philosophy is one of continuous improvement - both in the way in which they work and the services they provide to their customers. Favouring the informal partnering style of working relationships, this in turn allows them to deliver what their Customers actually want, rather than selecting from a list of standard services.
As HVAC Engineering Manager you will report to the Head of Engineering & Compliance, you will have total responsibility for ensuring the national mobile service delivery of the F Gas and Gas Safe operatives, compliance with the respective legislation, the quality and completion of technicians paperwork and associated PPM/Reactive certification across all Client portfolio sites within the NMS business.
Working closely with the Accounts, Service Delivery Managers, Supervisors, specialist Works Managers and the site delivery teams to deliver the output specification. The role is to create and sustain a cohesive, cost effective and compliant service delivery, for the service delivery of our AC & Commercial gas and associated services, and compliance in line with contractual requirements and interfacing with the Client and to mitigate both client and business risk and to meet the Contract KPIs
To be given due consideration, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies & experience:
-5 years minimum experience in a management field based AC, Refrigeration or Commercial Gas Supervisory role
-In depth understanding of Refrigeration, AC and / or Commercial Gas Safe legislation and associated practices
-Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge and experience of Gas Safe & F Gas works and associated systems
-City and Guilds / NVQ or trade specific qualifications in ACRIB/ F gas or Gas Safe
-2 years minimum in a similar capacity in a HVAC Management role
