BEME - IMPROVING ACCESS TO PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPIES SERVICE (IAPT)

BeMe Trainee IAPT Psychological Well-being Practitioner (PWP) / Low Intensity Practitioner

These are training posts indicative Band 3 (16,110 - 19,077) whilst in training progressing to indicative Band 4 (18,652 - 21,798) when qualified

BeMe is Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service which offers a range of psychological treatments to clients with common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety and depression. BeMe is looking for motivated and enthusiastic people who wish to train as Psychological Well-being Practitioners.

These are fulltime training posts with a flexible, variable work pattern to offer out of hours appointments. Successful applicants will undertake a University of Exeter training programme in Evidence-based Psychological Practice, delivered at the Knowledge Spa, Treliske, Truro.

Successful completion of the course is necessary for on-going employment.

Interviews will be held on either 1st or 4th February 2013. Successful applicants need to be ready to take up employment early in March (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks), as the University of Exeter course starts at this time.
