Regional Sales Manager - South West Our client has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee the South West region of the business.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for Business Development Managers across the South West region.

The successful candidate will live within a proximity of the following locations Gloucester, Bristol, Highbridge, Newton Abbot, Roche, Swindon, Didcot. The teams focus will be winning new business, building a prospect base in targeted areas and building value in to all prospective relationships.

This is a great opportunity that would suit an ambitious and driven individual whose overall focus is to ensure the quality of service, a strong operation across all areas and an effective strategy in place to maximise business retention levels and profitability.

We are currently looking for an Experienced Regional Sales Manager to manage our successful sales team across the South West. This role is a regional role so travel is expected.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for Business Development Managers across the South West region.

The teams focus will be winning new business, building a prospect base in targeted areas and building value in to all prospective relationships.

The Key responsibilities for the Regional Sales Manager will include but not be limited to the following

* Responsible for the management of the sales team.
* Responsible for delivering sales performance at regional and local level
* Developing local strategies in conjunction Management to plan growth through customer acquisition and customer retention
* Develop local pricing strategies within national guidelines to deliver sales margin performance
* Lead, develop and motivate a high performing sales team
* Deliver regional new product service offerings whilst effectively deploying resources to support national campaigns * In conjunction with Regional and Site Managers, deliver campaigns to maximize revenue
* Build local competitor intelligence through competitor profiling
* In conjunction with the National Telesales Manager, ensures that Telesales teams are effectively deployed to meet sales targets
* Develop/co-ordinate local telesales and marketing campaigns to drive growth

We are looking for the successful Regional Sales Manager to ideally have an understanding of a service led industry.

We are also looking for Regional Sales Manager to have the following:

* Proven track record in sales
* Team management experience
* Driven sales professional with a new business focus
* Background knowledge within a service led industry
* Must be able to demonstrate a track record of sales success which includes Account Management and winning New Business.
* Consistent over achiever of targets
* History of over achievement in new business sales
* Excellent presentation skills.
