The Role

My client is looking for a flexible, motivated IT support professional with around 12 months IT support experience to join their team in a 1st line Service Desk Analyst role.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing technical and administrative support for desktop infrastructure
Provide desktop user support
Act as a link between the business requirements and application software
Provide out of hours support when required
Assist in project work, such as the group wide desktop rollout/upgrade

This role is based at my client's offices in Cornwall, around 30 minutes from Plymouth. You will be acting as first port of call for all IT issues including software, applications, phones, hardware, printers and Servers. You will need to be productive from day one with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong problem solving skills.

The company
My client is a manufacturing company with nationwide offices, so experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment would be an advantage. A rate of 16k - 18k per annum is on offer for this position.
