Senior IFS Business & Project Analyst

Job Scope

Whilst the post carries no financial or personnel responsibilities, it does have significant responsibilities in terms of the scope of business coverage and reliance:

* Supporting 1500 users across 15+ legal entities
* Supporting an application for supply chain, procurement, financials, projects, maintenance, HR and inventory containing >5000 customers and >10,000 suppliers and a part catalog of >40,000 inventory parts
* A requirement to be available for call out outside of working hours and frequent overseas travel for support / meetings / training as required.

Responsibilities

* Managing the development of new IFS processes / projects and ensure effective application across IFS entities.
* Participate in the planning and execution of future IFS implementations and upgrades.
* Promote best practice use of IFS, supporting BU aims whilst maintaining a consistent platform.
* Support BU teams in meeting the financial control and reporting requirements of the business, particularly for key reporting dates and audit reviews.
* Provision of expert advice and training support for IFS implementations.
* Build and maintain relationships with key personnel to ensure correct focus on developments and to keep abreast of current business needs.
* Assist IFS support team in resolution of issues, i.e. setting priorities.
* Support company initiatives to improve business efficiency through the use of IT across the business

Experience requirements

Proven experience of implementing ERP's to support business requirements, preferably using IFS.
Experience in new systems deployment and business integrations

Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of IFS Admin / Solution Manager is advantageous
Knowledge and ability to write Custom Events
Knowledge of Business process and financial understanding
Understanding of SQL and IFS A.P.I's or equivalent.`
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in 2nd European language skills would be advantageous
Methodical approach to problem resolution and strong analytical skills
Proven leadership qualities
Flexible working hours to meet business demands.
Skills with modern IT Languages (e.g. Access) in order to manipulate data
