Manager / supervisor Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a well established manufacturing business in Devon that has an outstanding reputation and works with some of the biggest business in the UK. It has an excellent company pension scheme and benefits. Candidate must have a very hands on approach and does not mind working in hot environment. We are looking for an Supervisor / manager Engineer that has fresh new ideas that is keen to make changes with in the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to become part of the senior management team. If you are degree level in engineering or electrical, if you are ambitious and have keen new fresh ideas then this is the position for you.

Ideally candidate will have worked with and have knowledge of Mechanical,
Electrical installations, Hydraulics, Steam and Air systems.

Key purpose:

Manage Maintenance of equipment for busy, high volume, rapidly changing production facility which operates 5days x 24hrs per week.

You will have a flexible and positive approach to your role in order to achieve company objectives and maximise performance and demonstrate your ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately under pressure.

Key Tasks and responsibilities:
*To work with all members of staff in order to minimise machine downtimes.
*Understand and comply with Health & Safety, Quality Procedures and all other areas of compliance.
*Maintain awareness of existing and new procedures.
*Maintain key TPM procedures
*Achieve personal performance targets as agreed with your line manager.
*To show initiative with regards to all aspects of job role.

You will be competent in the following areas:
*Experience hands on Maintenance Engineer
*Ideally, working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical installations, Hydraulics, Steam and Air systems
*Consistency and focused on performance
*Adherence to punctuality and attendance standards
*Management of time to ensure optimum productivity
*Planning and organising
*Team working but also capable of working under own initiative
*Flexibility & Adaptability

Salary : 32000 - 36000
